Our services are fully aligned with the Department for Education's matrix Standard and are designed to maximise the impact of local authority and government funding streams, including the Adult Skills Fund (ASF).

We help you overcome barriers to employment by mapping out clear pathways into work.

  • Funding Eligibility Advice: Guiding you through government-funded routes to ensure you access fully funded training where applicable.

  • Employability Support: Assisting with CV building, interview preparation, and direct job opportunities.

 

For Employed Individuals Looking to Upskill​

We support workforce development, helping you secure career progression or adapt to shifting industry demands.

  • Flexible Learning: Aligning advice and training delivery to fit around your active shift patterns and employment commitments.

  • Progression Mapping: Helping you understand how a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification can lead to promotions, pay increases, or new responsibilities.

  • Co-funding Navigation: Advising on whether your training can be co-funded by your employer or fully funded through low-wage thresholds.

2. What We Offer to Employers & Corporate Partners​

We serve as a strategic skills partner, helping you leverage local authority and central government funding to maximize your training ROI.

  • Organisational Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Assessing your current business skills gaps to recommend targeted training interventions.

  • Funding Optimisation: Navigating complex funding rules to identify where your business can access fully or co-funded upskilling programs for staff.

  • Employer SWAP Programmes: Supporting employers to recruit new talent through tailored SWAP programmes, with candidates progressing through a guaranteed interview process.

4. What We Expect from You​

To ensure a successful partnership, we ask that our learners and employer clients:

  • Provide accurate and honest information regarding employment status, income evidence, and prior qualifications to determine funding compliance.

  • Actively engage with assigned tutors, support staff, business consultants, and IAG coaches throughout the course lifecycle.

  • Provide honest feedback to help us continually refine our educational delivery.

Our Courses

Training in Care provides bespoke training regionally across the North East of England, and Nationally through Skills for Care.
