Training in Care has Sector Skills Academy status and delivers both Nationally Accredited, and Employer Responsive training through their Endorsed status.
The company conducts training needs analysis with employers to ensure that they receive a programme that meets their specific skills gaps.
Level 2 Courses
All of our courses are accredited through awarding bodies CACHE and NCFE. We are proud to have held direct claim status for each of these qualifications for over 10 years.

Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce
​
This includes knowledge and skills. This includes a work experience element of 150 hours of placement where evidence of skills needs to be gathered. Learners will be required to undergo a DBS check when enrolling onto this course.
This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s environments including early years and social care. It covers a wide range of areas including safeguarding, health and safety, supporting speech and language, and child development.
*Course duration is 14 weeks with learners attending one session per week alongside their work placement*

Level 2 Diploma in Care
​
This qualification includes knowledge and skills. This includes a work experience element of 150 hours of placement where evidence of skills needs to be gathered. Learners will be required to undergo a DBS check when enrolling onto this course.
This qualification will support learners to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of clinical healthcare support settings and in health and adult care environments.
It covers a wide range of areas including dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and healthcare procedures.
*Course duration is 18 weeks with learners attending one session per week alongside their work placement*

Level 3 Courses
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People's Workforce
This qualification is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas and is spilt into two pathways:
• Social Care
• Learning, Development and Support Services

On completion of this course learners will be qualified to work in the following roles:

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care
The Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care has been designed to enable learners to access Higher Education or assist with progression into the workplace.

This qualification supports progression into a wide range of job roles in the health and social care sector, including:
• Care Support Workers in adult residential settings
• Healthcare Assistants in community, primary care and acute health environments
• Care Support Workers in domiciliary services, supported living or day services
• Community-based Support Workers

Workforce Development Fund
Training in Care can deliver high-quality care training and continuous professional development (CPD) for staff across the adult social care sector through the Workforce Development Fund. The fund allows the employer to claim back money towards the costs of paid staff completing a broad range of adult social care qualifications, learning programmes and digital learning modules.
To claim funding, an organisation must provide an adult social care service and directly employ paid care staff within England.
